  • ... property to set the linked column

By Marco Weller 2 decades ago

… I have one more request … while using your notesview2 tool …

is it possible that you can set a property to use for the linked column, you use right now the first text column to build the view …

we have an icon on the first column, this will be used right now for the link, it looks not very good …

    with kind regards

    Marco Weller

    • re: show column as link

By jason a thomas 2 decades ago

I'm not sure about this one. I'd like to stop using tags altogether. Currently, the user can open a document by double-clicking anywhere on the row. I used the tag for the first column so that they could use their keyboard to open documents as well. I think I'd rather figure a way to capture when they press the "Enter" key while a row is highlighted and then open that document.

      • ... good idea

By Marco Weller 2 decades ago

        Hi Jason,

thanks for your quick response … catching the key on a highlighted row is a good thing , but I think not so easy to catch, isn't it ?

We tried to make the column to render as a link configurable, if you want we can send you our code based on the version 1.4.2.

So let me know and the code will be yours … ;-)

        with kind regards

        Marco Weller
