• ACCESS_VIOLATION

By Dan Cihon 2 decades ago

For some reason my server has started giving ACCESS_VIOLATION crashes and it says nbload is what is causing it.

Any Ideas on how to stop this?

    Thanks

OK I deleted the lists and the problem went away for a few days. It is doing it again.

I have 4,886 Document in my MailSpam.nsf file. Do you think this is causing a problem or maybe one or more of these emails is causing the problems?

Should I just clean out the whole database and start over?

Is there anything else to try. Maybe I have some other Notes server issue that causes Access_Violations. I searced the Domino Forum but couldn't come up with anything to try.

Do you think I should maybe re install the server? I have never done that, afraid I will cause bigger problems if I did that.

Sorry for all the questions. I just don't know what to try next.

        Thanks

          Hi Dan,

i think there is a mail that causes the domino's crash.Stop bload then load it, and see if in domino's console, when you have the NSD, you have a reference to a Note ID or a UNID.If you find it write or stamp it then open you domino administrator go to the "file" tab;,first, click right on the mailspam db and click on find note. Put the UNIDor note ID and then delete the doc.Repeat this also on mailgood if necessary. Then try to load bload.

You can also look at NSD log file in order to have some more information about domino's nsd.

          Hi Marco.
