• Status of Linux Port?

By LJ Wilson 2 decades ago

I see back in Feb. 2006 several yes votes to port to different platforms.

Has anyone taken a stab at Linux? If not I'd be interested in trying it, but no point if someone is close to having one done.

Nick Radov outlined the steps required: (http://www.openntf.org/Projects/pmt.nsf/894fe3a057d40c2885256bae003d7dd6/5226f3c11a394b738625711000199e6c!OpenDocument)

Apparently the SpamAssassin (Windows/32) script library has already been broken-out of the main SpamAssassin script library, so looks like all that is left is some bash scripting to replace the windows batch file handling, along with linux versions of the Win32 API functions for temporary files.

I think this project is the most promising freeware SPAM tool for Domino, but it needs to be available for multiple platforms (Linux in particular) and it needs to be able to process mails parallel as the current performance is not that good.
