• Any progress on fixing the RMI shutdown issue?

    <span style="font-size:12px;">According to the documentation:</span></div>

    <br/>
    <span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11px;"><em>The RMI server doesn&#39;t stop properly and leaves some sockets opened. This prevents the</em></span></span></span></div>

    <span style="font-size:11px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><em>task from being stopped and restarted. If you need to restart this task, then you have to</em></span></span></div>

    <span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11px;"><em>shutdown the entire server. The RMI documentation is very lazy on how this should be done.</em></span></span></span></div>

    I was wonder if any progress was being made on this issue. We are using this on a test environment now but have concerns putting it on a production server with this issue still happening. The idea of a separate server for this is appealing except the cost of that server and licensing for a single application.

        I haven't done any investigation and won't probably in the short term. But, if you help and come with a solution, I'll be happy to get it in :-)
