OpenNTF Mail Template - Feature Request: Ascending/Descending Column Sorting (Inbox/Folders)

Change the column sorting options so that all columns can be sorted ascending or descending -- including the SUBJECT column which can't be sorted at all by default. (Columns are who, date, size, subject in the default lotus mail 6 template)

The options for full sort are already in the mail template -- they just aren't enabled. In designer for the mail template, if you go into the Folder view for the Inbox, you can click on the column, go to properties, click the tab with the up/down arrows, and then enable sorting by checking "click on header to sort" and then setting it to "BOTH" to enable ascending and descending. You have to do this for each column.

This functionality is also requested in Folders (which are views) such as Sent, and folders the user creates.

By enabling full sorting, users can find things much quicker than only having something sort one direction (ex: descending). Also, by being able to sort by Subject, users can read an email thread rather than trying to hunt through the entire INBOX to find the related messages.

Thanks! By the way, I love the changes you guys are coming up with!

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
