Catalog Release are projects that have gone through OpenNTF's clearance process. This means that they have been successfully scanned for intellectual property issues, and that they are end-user 'install friendly'. See here for more.

The Apache Catalog contains software under Apache License Version 2.0 and compatible licenses that has passed through OpenNTF's release process. The GPL Catalog contains software under GPL License Version 3.0 and compatible licenses that has passed through OpenNTF's release process.
