OpenNTF Mail Template - Feature Request: Display actual size of message rather than 40Kb

Most remote Notes client users set the "Receive summary & 40Kb of rich text only" option in their replication settings in order to minimise the amount of time they are dialled in (especially when in hotels, which charge through the nose!).

There is an icon (a blue torn paper) in the inbox that indicates that a message is trucncated. However it only says its 40Kb. Most users want to know how big the actual message is before they attempt to download it.

So for example, I have a 10Mb message, but the inbox only says 40Kb and no indication how big the actual message is.

We got around this in our organisation by changing the mail size field in the memo form to capture the actual message size when it is sent, by using @doclength.

In this field you can enter the actual request.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
