OpenNTF Mail Template - Feature Request: Warning for users when sending files to a large number of recipients
A common problem:
We have groups to address the hole headquarter or site offices.
People love to send mail to everyone, whether they look for a spare toner cartridge or lost an ID card, a mail to all is quickly done.
Very often they send attachments, for example misrouted fax sendings. And they never think about the mail traffic they produce when they send a 50 page fax image to 1000 users. (No, we don't use shared mail for many reasons)
Or someone sends a scanned catalog (hires 1200 dpi, only 50MB!!) to 120 managers. Btw: some of them are out for business travel and try to retrieve that mail by mobile phone...
What I'm trying to say: whenever someone send a mail that will produce more than e.g. 10MB traffic, they should get a warning (mail size * # of receipients).
