OpenNTF Mail Template - Feature Request: Replied To and Forwarded To Lines


In the latest template when you reply to or forward a message it adds to the header the person name and date / time of who was replied to or forwarded to.

If the persons name is long or it you do both actions it causes the header box to get longer and really makes thing look out of place.

I'd like to suggest that this information is moved to the main part of the document. Using computed subforms you could display the info if it exists. I'd suggest displaying it in a tooltip yellow single column table that covers the width of the screen.

Another advantage of this is the user could have a preference set to show the info or not if it exists, and if you forward the message to more then one person you could list each name in a seperate line in the table.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
