Phonebook sidebar plugin - Feature Request: Some wishes for custom database


Hello,

very nice project Ferry. I use the plugin with a custom database and have some wishes at the moment:

1. Could you please insert a field to display the fax number.

2. If i search for a person, the search is case sensitive at the moment. A option to disable case sensitive would be nice.

3. It would be good, if i can see if somebody is online or not (sametime). With an icon or a background color.

4. In my database i have a field named "Icon". This field contains an icon name, which is in the database. The icon tells us, if a person is in the company at the moment or not.  Would it be possible to configure a field that shows the content as an icon ?

1. I added the fax number from release v1.2

2. Search is not case sensitive anymore

3. Online awareness works, but you must be online before you let the phonebook search for all the contacts (I have to fix this sometime) Refresh the contacts and the awareness will be invoked (only when using the 'tree' structure for displaying your contacts.

4. Let me know how you think I should implement this. Is the icon accessable via a direct url? Or is it a inline image in a rich text field?

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
