When one enables the out of office, on the exceptions tab there is an option to "Exclude e-mails received from the internet".



I use this often because not doing so, simply validates your address to spammers.



However, it would be really cool if there was another option to say "Restrict OOO messages to people in my Notes domain AND addresses in my synchronised contact list"



OR



Could OOO processing be restricted to only run against mail found in the Inbox - that way any items in $JunkMail or anything filed via a rule, e.g. web site subscriptions would be ignored for OOO processing.



Personally I think the former option would be better but am guessing the latter may be easier to implement.
