Just thought I'd share some customisations that I do here on my site in case they're of use to anyone else.



1) Company letter - How to do this is well documented.

2) Phone lookup - A button added to inbox and sent action bars and also to the top of the memo/reply forms. When clicked in view/folder, prompts for name and looks up phone number in public NAB. When clicked within email, looks up phone number of sender. Code from ePhone tool in Iris Sandbox.

3) Change Reply Other button so it behaves the same in a memo as it does in the inbox.

4) Set default values for ONTF and other mail preferences. Hide options box for some of these to reduce support calls. Using a hide when, the options are only visible to admins. Like for example, the contacts view is hidden and the user can't make it visible even if they want to.

5) Hide chat button as sametime not implemented on this site.

6) Change "Copy into new" button to read "Copy into…" - this small cosmetic change actually allows all of our action buttons to be visible without scrolling on a 1024x768 screen resolution.
