I have been asked if it is possible to schedule Excel to Notes configurations.



Currently this is not possible. There are two different ways of implementing this.

1) Scheduled on your local machine

2) Scheduled on the server



I have investigated option 1 but had a few issues so did not proceed. Option 2 is a much better solution because it does not require your machine to be left on. It makes sense for this to run on the server. The issue with this though is that the upload code uses Excel to read the xls or csv file. We use Unix servers and cannot install Excel on the server. With Windows machines this may be an option.



I will investigate this further. A compromise solution is to be able to schedule csv uploads on the server. This will be very useful in my organisation.
