    Hi Guys,



    The DB looks very interresting but there are some major bugs in it (or is it my understanding of it…)



    1) Why is there always one Leave Type called VAC?

    This type does not show up in the list and I cannot deleted it.



    2) If a user e.g. has 13 days brought forward, 26 days annual days, 5 days taken with a total of 34 days

    remaining. Three days are requested and approved by the manager. By looking at the annual allowences I get

    a very different result (after the three days have been aproved): 13 days brought forward, 26 days annual

    days, 5 days taken with a total of 18 days remaining!!! 3 days holiday cost 16 days!!??



    3) If a booking is made and the exact same days are booked by using the same date no information is given;

    e.g. that this days have already been booked. As well can the Approver aprove it and the user will lose

    another few days. I think a warning should be given and as well should it not be possible to to book it

    once again.



    4) If a user requests some days off and the Admin denies it (Deny A/L Admin) a) Admin is asked to save the

    document and b) the person requesting the days off is not being informed about that the days off have been

    denied. Only the Admin gets this mail!?



    5) If an annual leave document has been created for a user and deleted a new one can not be created. It say

    that one already exists. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.



    Will you be able to help me here and provide some answers?

      Thank you very much for your interest in the Vacation Request Project. You make some good points which I respond to below. Sorry for the late response: I have been on Holiday for a while.

      "VAC" is the default for the field LTC in the Leave Request form. Feel free to change this default value to suit your needs. VAC is the most popular code used here.

      Yes, this is a know bug :(

      If you open the document the remaining days will recalculate correctly: the form is valid but the button code has the problem

      I found this bug prior to my VACation but just have not updated the template yet–I have successfully tested the fix which will be in 2.2.1 (coming soon)

      Great idea! I'll work it into a future release

      I'll need to research this one. You are correct the Requestor should be informed via eMail

      After deleting an Annual Leave Allowance document you need to exit from Vacation Request and re-Open it so that indexes will be recalculated. I expected more modifications here rather than delete and recreate.
