• whitelist allowrules

By henny kohler 2 decades ago

I am keeping a Whitelist in KSPAM. Created a allow-rule for every trusted recipient.

Works great, but now I want to clean up old recipients, who did not mail us for approx 1 year.

    Any suggestions ?

Is there a way to register for each allow-rule when it was last used by KSPAM?

      Hi,

you could check the creation date on the Domino database. This information is not available in other points.

But old personal rules may be always useful, why delete them?

Can't you play with priority? You should not have performance issues.

      Let me know.

      Best regards.

        thanks for your reply!

I was concerned about the performance, but you' re right.

I have approx 1200 rules now and no performance issues !

I have made some modifications in kspam.nsf

created a web-form for remote handling of 'copy and deny' category. Can approve them individualy or collective declare them as spam.

If anyone is interested in the javascript-code or formula-code, let me know!

Would offload some for the admin part.

An idea could then be to have a timer of eg. 7 days for user to react and then put it in an list for admin.

Yes, but then you have to find a way to let the end-user decide wich message is spam and wich is not.

I have solved this by creating a webform in mailspam.nsf, that shows only the messages that are send to the user who logged in.

Please see my other topic in this discuss-forum, called "Mailspam.nsf Webform for end-users"

            regards,

            Henny
