• How to email me.

I actually use VIC for my primary email. I despise spam, and VIC is extremely good at clearing it out for me… much better than any of the commercial spam filters I've tried. (Look at http://www.cratchit.org/VIC/Features/spam-free.html to see how this works in general.) In addition to "white-listing" all incoming mail, VIC accepts messages that contain keywords in the subject line (you set these up in your VIC UserPreferences document).

In my case, VIC passes any mail that contains "VIC:" (note the colon) or "VIC CRM" in the subject. It also passes mail with subjects containing "TimeTool" (another of my projects). If you want to make sure that I see your email, please include one of these keywords in the subject. Otherwise it will get delayed until I cull through my SpamTrap folder. I don't do this very frequently. It could be missed entirely.

Once you've sent me mail this way I typically whitelist you. But if you use a different email address you should include the keyword again so I can add the additional address to your person document.

    FYI.
