Maybe this one is issued before but I just found it: the Namepicker control stores its values as abbreviated names in the bound field. If you are using this for readers and authors fields than this will fail. The setup users cannot see/edit the documents. Found a workaround though, but this should be a property of the control: “how to store the value” with a selectable option of “common, abbreviated, canonical”
