  I really like this control and hope can find way around my problem.

  I have built custom controls using the 'Form Table' control and the 'Form Layout Row' control. I put Edit Box controls in the table layout and checked the validation boxes. All this worked well when I added it to my main Xpage with validations triggered only when the Xpage was submitted.

  After I added the Picklist control all the validations would trigger when loading the Xpage. Would you have any idea why this happens and how I might get the validations to trigger just when the Xpage is submitted?
