domBulletin - Feature Request: start up help


Hi, I downloaded the db, copied it to my Test server. Then when I open the db in a browser i get the preferences page. i log in and then text on the preferences page changes to logged in. The page has what looks like homepage options on the right hand side eg Active Webboard mode, Framed mode etc. When I click on one of these nothing happens. I thought, and maybe I'm wrong, that be clicking on one of these the homepage would change? "BulletiomBulletin.nsf/Preferences?OpenForm".
Can you help as I am trying to teach myself Domino Web Development and I think the db will be of great assistance
