Common View Interface - Feature Request: Returning to the view in the previous state


I really like this and would love to use it. However there is one thing stopping me and that is the old "Back" issue.

If I drill down through view categories to open a document, I would like to store the state of the view (cookie, Profile doc, whatever) so that when I come back from the document, Either via QuerySave agent or a link, I can restore the view to the position from which I came (i.e. Expanded into the appropriate category and positioned as it was when the document was opened).

Now I may well have missed something. I have looked through the code and can't see a quick way of doing this. Would appreciate it if you have any thoughts on how this could be achieved.
