I am speaking in reference to the version supplied by IBM to customers in an upgrade pack...meaning any template IBM distributes should be ready for public use, not just be one that is a demonstration of technology by OpenNTF.org. Don't get me wrong...as a demonstration, this XPages version of TeamRoom is great.
But from a usability standard, it seems that the XPages UI for TeamRoom is only half done, missing many features found in the Notes UI version. For example you can create an Action Item document but there aren't any views (or filters) to list them separately and to monitor progress. As another example, no hide-whens on Edit and Save buttons for non-authors. No newsletters. No ability to update Access List from within the app. You get the idea. A good start, just not done.
It would also be "interesting" to add a document/file sharing capability. Then tie teamroom into a sidebar application that supports drag/drop for files, updates on action items, etc. Then it can grow as a genuine competitor to Quickr and Connections. So not only give the XPages version of Teamroom the same features as the Notes version, but also blow it out and make it something better.
Just a thought...
