BlogSphere - Feature Request: Finding and marking dead links

When links is published in stories, it is a possibility that the link eventually will be dead. To make life easier for the blog reader, a "dead link finder" should be made. It could be made with a Java agent that checks all stories for links (images etc.) and opens up the remote URL via a HttpURLConnection. It removes or marks the dead link in the story, and points to a webarchive, like Google (http://www.google.com/help/features.html#cached) or Internet Archive (http://www.archive.org/)

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
