Lotus Notes 8.5.2 now supports CFKEditor. This is great although there is file uppload function it does not fully utilize the ckfinder which is an addin. An xpage ckfinder solution would be great idea for the future.
TinyMCE editor would be a great new feature as an alterantive. It should be possible to create a TinyMCE custom controller including:
-
configuration
-
fileuppload function to save files to a central repository (i.e a notesdatabase) e.g images
-
link to documents based on a view.
-
The field you wish to save data to.
The Dojo Editor in previouse versions of Lotus Notes has not really been a full version.Maybe a fully working version.
Another great feature would be the drag and drop file upploader which can be found in Quikr. Something simular to that.
