Open Notes Picture Database - Feature Request: Order albums...


Hi Christian,

I'm using your picture database. Great job!

I have a need to order my albums, but, I didn't see an easy way to do that. So...I changed the design to utilize a position field and created a few actions to move albums up and down in the view. I thought you might be interested in seeing the design. I changed the following elements...

Albums_en - added a sorted position column with these 4 actions
enumerate - give each album a unique position number
clear numbers - sets all album positions to 0 and effectively sorts by album name
move up - swaps the position numbers of the current and previous document
move down - swaps the position numbers of the current and next document
StoryCategory_en - added hidden position column

BTW I also changed the temp directory to always point to c:\temp. I did this because, for some reason the code that was there wouldn't extract the right temp directory from the registry.

In this field you can enter the actual request.
