domCMS - Feature Request: web launch option for homepage not good for search robots


The default way the homepage is launched thru the database properties and the meta refresh on the launchHomePage page will put of search robots.
Therefore it would be better to use a seperate view like the HomeLookup view and launch the first document in that view.
You can find several entries on the web that say meta refresh result in the robots stopping to index your site when such a page is hit.
