fileSendr - Feature Request: File Upload control not working in IE 7+


 

First of all, this is an awesome application. I reallllllly like the simplicity, yet usefulness, of it.

 

So I have tried this on three Domino 8.5.2FP2 servers (one Win2k8R2 64bit, two Win2k3 32bit) and on one 8.5.2FP1 (Win2k8R2 64bit).

I have the ExtLib installed fine, and I've copied the Dojo-1.5.0 stuff to the JS folder, copied the IBM folder and removed the *.gz files from it.

Everything works dandy in Chrome, but in IE7 & 8 file upload control button doesn't work - it seems to be text inside a table cell.

Mr. Google tells me that there are some isues with IE7+, Dojo and the latest Flash releases, but I don't see any solutions.

If anyone has any idears on what I'm doing wrong, I'd appreciate knowing.... (thanks!)

I have replaced the file upload control with a much better one that has marked improvement for support for IE



In this field you can enter the actual request.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
