XPages Forum - Feature Request: IN IBM PLAN: Need improvements to view Discussion Thread


We need to be able to view all posts in a thread at the same time.  It's too daunting that we have to click on each post and only see that post.  It's difficult when replying to a post because you lose visibility of the post you're replying to.

We need to try and take a close look at what other forum software does, like the PHP Bulletin board Software, and the openNTF project xTalk and see if we can integrate in some of that UI.

In this field you can enter the actual request.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
