OpenLog - Feature Request: Add a notifier to check for an absent event..


Maybe this is little contrived but sometimes I want to know when an event didn't happen e.g. the agent didn't run.

I realise that you can get into what checks the system thats checking the system etc... But was think about something as simple as being able to create a notifier that had all the usual options but allowed you to specify a time period ( daily, monthly etc) where it expects to see a certain event - and if it doesn't then send a notification.

Would be happy to help writing this if deemed worthwhile ? Scott
