SuperNTF - Feature Request: Create an "ACL Dashboard" showing group membership, et. al.


I want to create an easy way to allow "UserAdmin" types (i.e. users in charge of database access, which typically means group membership) to view the ACL entries in the current database such that its easy to see group memberships and add/change/remove members from same. The interface should be something akin to the "dashboard" interface first released in version 0.9.5, where a "preview" window will show the contents of the current selected "list" (or view) element. In this case, a list of ACL entries would appear in a Listbox field. Selecting one of the entries would case a preview frame to display the corresponding person, group, or server document. In the case of groups, some provision for handling nested groups should be provided.

One idea for the contents of the "preview" frame is not to simply display the source document directly, but rather to filter that content through a form stored locally, which can be more tightly controlled in terms of formatting.
