OpenNTF Mail Template - Feature Request: enable Internet Mail Threads


To the best of my knowledge, Lotus Notes only threadsNotes generated mail. I assume this is because Notes mail replies are response documents, and can be presented in a view simply by presenting in a response hierarchy, while internet mail threads are based upon messageID and In-reply-to headers. Couldn't some crafty programmer figure out how to construct a view that treated matching In-reply-to headers and/or subject fields as response documents?

I have had to use other mail software for years now because most of my email is sent to and from non-notes mail clients.
