XPages Forum - Feature Request: Wider summary area on responses


When I click main topic to load it, there a list of responses at the bottom, and that list has a summary of the content, which is a very nice touch.  I would like to request whomever maintains this, if such an entity exists, that they make the subject line wrap such that more of the summary is visible.  At present the subject does not wrap and it squishes the summary far to the right.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are adding this feature request to our tracking system to investigate it further.

Currently the summary in the topic map is cut off at a certain number of characters. I think this is the issue you are seeing. Upcoming changes to the Forum template include displaying all responses to the thread on one page. This means that the topic map is no longer needed. These changes are coming in a future iteration.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
