Currently this project is in the beta phase, there are a few known issues that are beyond the scope of XBlog and are issues with other blogging platforms or IBM's implementation of certain components:

  • Adding a script block in the Rich Text editor works, however the script block is not available in the editor upon the next edit.
  • RSS Import - In blogsphere you must fix a couple of bugs before you can import from a blogsphere template
  • RSS Import - The email address of a commentor is not included in RSS Feeds from pre-existing systems and thus not imported
  • The viewScope bean is expiring after about 30 minutes, at which point you loose anything you haven't saved
  • Image upload in rich text editor broken when using a backing bean
