• crash my system

    I've set up mPortal for my Intranet, but i have some problem:



    with version 4.1 domino sometimes crash (i have 10 - 20 contemporar users) and i find that mportal crash the system but i don't know why.

    when the application crashes i have to restart the system :((





    i try tu port all user and configuration to 4.2 hoping to solve the problem, but in 4.2 when a user set up his preference than he can't view the inital page…



    please help me, or my 500 users kill me!!!!

      Wow, that's quite a dilemma! I've never had a report of mPortal crashing a Domino server, but I guess anything's possible!



      Can you give me some additional details on the symptoms that you see when it crashes? Do the users get any javascript or Domino errors? Vince has a running copy of mPortal on openNTF.org that I can point you to, and maybe you can visit it and tell me where your system differs from his working system, and you can tell me at exactly what point your server 'crashes'? Please let me know and I'll try to help you out.

        thanks for the rapid answer!!



        when it crash, the only possible solution to restart domino is restart the system!!



        i guess that it crashes when many users are logged in the application.



        i've open logs in IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT folder with lotus notyes diagnostic tool and whenever it crashes it logs that (see it in the end of this post).



        Please give me the link to Vince copy on openNTF.org.



        Please help me, because, for example, yesterday it crashes twice!!!



        if you want I can give you internet access to the application and send you the code.
