The NotesPerson QueryClose event which checks to ensure that the ID you are currently using is not the ID for the current NotesPerson will allow the NotesPerson document to be closed if the person whose NotesPerson document you are in has been renamed AND the ID has not been updated.



The problem with this is if you have switched to a user's id and close the NotesPerson document, while still switched to a user's id, you no longer have access to open the NotesPerson document to switch back to your ID. You can however use the File\Security\Switch ID menu option to switch back to your ID, but, this will close all open databases and documents, thus possibly causing you to loose information that has not been saved, because the user id you have switched to may not have the proper access to save the modified document.
