• Sometimes mail gets stuck in mail.box

    Win2k, Domino 6.5.1.

    This is an upgrade from 0.99a.



    Most mails get scanned OK - with or without viruses, Mailscan does what it is supposed to do.



    But Sometimes an e-mail gets stuck in mail.box, where it says something like "processing by Mailscan".

    Restarting the server will let the e-mail route on.



    MailScan does not exit after having had this error. Inbound mail is still scanned after the time of an e-mail getting stuck.

    It's probably related to the problem that was reported in this thread:

      do you log with DebugLevel=3?

      Can you send me or post mailscan.log file?

      Win2000 Server SP4

      Once this happens, everything stays in mail.box:

      That's log level 2. Just changed it to 3 but we'll have to wait to see what it says.

        Ver .99c appears to fix the stuck in mail.box problem.
