Software Development company –> just the IT admin staff using at the moment, assessing whether to roll it out to everyone… Does its job well - but heavy on screen realestate with all the buttons.

First of all, thank you and Brett Philips for your shareware/openNTF offerings. I downloaded the template as an individual although I work for IBM. I've been a Notes user since release 3 and am presently using the Notes 7 beta.

Just started using this tool today. I have a few questions and comments for starters:

        1. I am not seeing the symbols for the email distribution list - blue circle, half blue, etc.
        2. Since I'm also new to GTD, I would like more help doc regarding recommendations for categories and for how to fill out the form when it's an action, waiting for, etc.
        3. It would be good if the date/time fields could support a look up to calendar free time.
        4. I can't get the "by person" view to open. It times out.
        5. Is there a way to create a project and define next actions as a set up vs. as a response to each incoming email? Would be nice for you and Brett Philips to get together and create a hybrid template.

I am using your template at work. I haven't used it long, but so far I really like it. It makes me wish I had time to learn to code for notes so I could pitch in. Using it really is the only way I've been able to stay organized and feel caught up. I haven't even read David Allen's whole book, just the basics.

    • I am trying to use it. =)

      Hi,

I am using your template as an indiviual and must say thanks and it looks good. Unfortunately my organization mandates its own non-GTD mail template and using yours in conjunction with it is not allowed. Trying to find a way around this but so far not too successful.

Nonetheless keep up the good work. (I am not unfortunately a Notes programmer)

      Kind regards,

      B

      Hi,

I began to use this template and I think it seems to be promising. I work at Corvinus University of Budapest but I use it as an individual.

I was using Brett Phillip's GTD template before and I miss a lot of its functionality from this template and vica versa. So I decided to participate in this project. I am experienced Notes developer, so I can do my best.

Thanks for the good job and let's move ahead.

      Regards,

      Barna
