• kSpam 1.6b2 on suse linux 10.2

    Hy,



    we use the kSpam filter since one year (version kSpam 1.5, Lotus 7.2 on suse 9.1) . All things work fine.

    Now we have upgrade ower server to suse 10.2.

    In this i have also installed the new version of kSpam 1.6b2.

    Now , nothing happend. It seems that the kSapm Filter doesn't work. I can see that the process is loaded (without any errors) but all emails don't have any marks in the mail.

      Hi,

      can you turn on debuging, perhaps the extension manager isn't running.

      PS: OpenSuSE 10.1 works.

        First i have attach the start log of the server, where you can see what is loaded.



        Error - can't open/proc/3214/mapped_base. ??????? I don't know whats domino problem

        I have turn on debugging, but no log was fill.

        I have manualy create the ks_debug.txt in the notesdata directory, but nothing is write to this file.

          Hi,

          bload only creates token file that the extension manager uses.

          When you receive a mail through SMTP, you should always have field KS_IID.

          If you don't have it means that the extension manager was not loaded.

          You can also check this on the console, when the EM is loaded you can see "Loading RULES…" on the Domino console.



          Other whise some linux os libraries are missing and libkspam.so is not load properly.

            And what libaries do KSpam need. Have you a list of packages?

            I have nothing found in the documentation.

              You can use ldd libkspam.so to see what is missing on your os.

                seems to run now!

                I have found (with ldd kspam.so) that the libary libpcre.so.0 was not correctly installed.

                    The server seems to load the kspam engine. Comblist.txt has lots of words in it.

                    I have set up the mailgood and mailspam databases previously in W32 and they worked well..

                    I updated the design with the linux versions however no spam goes into the databases.



                    Please help me getting this wondeful product running on SUSE..

                    The problem I have is that my system does not create the spamlist.txt and goodlist.txt…

                    Have I done something wrong?
