• Multivalue fields

By Martin Vereecken 2 decades ago

    Hi,

Thank you for the tool, I didn't test it profoundly, but already I see that it is f.e. very easy to do an Excel export. Great and easy user interface!

What I didn't figure out yet: how about multivalue fields? When I do "Detail Export" not all fields are listed, it looks like multivalue fields are skipped. Can you tell me what's going on or point me to the corresponding documentation if I overlooked something? Thanks for your help and keep up the good work!

    Regards,

    Martin

    • Fields directly on the form should appear

By David Jeyachandran 2 decades ago

      Hi Martin,

Thank you for your feedback. You asked why it seems that certain fields are skipped in the "Details Export" tab. This is not related to fields being multi-value. The fields that appear in this list are fields that are directly on the selected form. If your form has subforms, those fields do not appear in the list. In this case you can type the name of fields in "Export Fields" which appears at the bottom of the tab. This is something like an Admin override where you can add any field you want or even a formula.

You can test by creating a Config for extracting data from your Personal Address Book. The Fullname field appears in the list even though it is mult-value.

Please let me know if this helps. Otherwise we can look at your specific example via email.

      Regards

      David
