• Notify users with a daily summary of blocked messages

    To send users a daily report, listing blocked messages sent to them, and a way to access/release a particular message.



    We have looked at services like Postini which has a nice end user interface (http://www.postini.com/images/screens/q_summary.gif) . This functionality is what management here has deemed necessary, they do not want messages blocked/filtered without some way for the users being able to access messages inadvertantly blocked.



    I'm running 1.39b2 on R6.5 with Baysean filtering and it works well, but before it would be allowed to be in production here, our users would need a way to notified and be able to access messages that get blocked. Of course the users would need to be allowed to view only their messages

      I am working on this now… I have an agent which searches the $user view in the address book and adds the user to a readers field (along with an admin role). I also have a couple of buttons that send the message to the intended recipeints and another which removes the item from the spam database to the not spam database… one last thing I am working on is the daily sumary… I am hoping to finish that today or tomorrow….

          Not right now but maybe in the future. It's not me that does the templates but Francois Lafleur, there are a few extra features on the next release but I'm very busy with other things right now.

      This would take pressure off the admins to find "lost" message and give the users some control.
