• ERROR 5.2.1: kSpam.bload calculating probabilties or not loaded.

By Juraj Lonc 2 decades ago

    hi.

    kSpam 1.5 was working fine.

i have installed 1.6b2 and bayesian filtering stopped working.

kSpam now filters messages only by "rule list" defined in configuration database.

there are lines in ks_log.txt after every received message:

ERROR 5.2.1: kSpam.bload calculating probabilties or not loaded.

ERROR 5.1.1: Bayesian data not loaded. P:0.0000

    running on:

    Windows 2003 Server

    Domino 7.0.2

No big changes were made on 1.6b2., if you are in a hurry you can use 1.5 bload.exe

Are the permissions on bload.exe ok?

      Rgds,

      Nico

Well, old 1.5 was running OK, then i installed 1.6b2 and bayesian stopped working, then i installed back 1.5 and it's working (without changes in config) = some changes in 1.6b2 has been made

        > if you are in a hurry you can use 1.5 bload.exe

sure, that is the only way - not to use this new beta version

        >Are the permissions on bload.exe ok?

        yes.

domino (or smtp task) loads bload without problems, there are absolutely no errors on console (everything seems fine), just mails are not filtered - and in received mails there is only one field inserted: "KS_IID", there is no other field named "KS_*" (1.5 inserts KS_BL_PROB, KS_BL_TOKENS)

and task is running (is displayed between other running tasks)

then i turned on debugging, and the result was that error message in ks_log.txt

Have you upgraded the config database?

          Nico

          • By Juraj Lonc 2 decades ago

            Yes.

            1. i stopped domino server
            2. copied .exe .dll files into domino directory
            3. copied .ntf templates into domino/data directory
            4. notes.ini was left untouched (EXTMGR_ADDINS is properly set)
            5. started domino, signed kspam templates and databases by server id and refreshed design
            6. restarted domino, just to be sure that everything starts ok

              Has bload crashed recently?

Have you restarted the actual server since you installed?

Could you turn on debugging for bload, and post the contents of bload.txt here.

              thanks,

              Tom

                > Has bload crashed recently?

Nope, Domino (and any of its tasks including bload) didn't crash last couple of months.

                > Have you restarted the actual server since you installed?

I restarted Domino server, twice. I didn't restart Windows.

                > Could you turn on debugging for bload,

I turned it before and didn't see any kind of error, just "malloc", "free" and the like calls.

                OK. I installed 1.6b2 again.

But I deleted all .txt files related to kspam (ks_log.txt, bload.txt, spamlist.txt, goodlist.txt) - i didn't do this never before (i wanted to send you fresh ones that's why i deleted them this time). - maybe this was the reason why it wasn't running well.

Now it runs OK, bayesian is working (received mails contain fields KS_BL_PROB, KS_BL_TOKENS, KS_IID).

So, it seems that it is working now.

Do you still want bload.txt? The size is 38MB. I could compress and put it on our http server.

Anyway, thank you for your help.

They'd be an error shown in bload.txt if they were caught.

I don't need the files, but out of interest, do you remember how large the files were (not bload.txt)?

I have absolutely no idea how big were spamlist.txt or goodlist.txt.

Another guy I know had the same problem I had. He was using kspam 1.5 and after installing 1.6b2 wasn't bayesian working. Now I adviced him to delete those .txt files and vualá, it runs ok since then.

So it's pretty probable that the cause of problem is related to spamlist.txt and goodlist.txt

Did you delete the emails in mailspam and mailgood too?

I'm asking because those text files are based on the contents of those databases.

                        Nope.

Emails remained in mailspam.nsf and mailgood.nsf, I didn't delete them (just refreshed design of those databases)

                        • OK

Sounds like bload got stuck while completing the initial loading of those files.

We'll look into it. Thanks for letting us know.
