• Need setup help

I'm just beginning to test kSpam on Domino 6.03, as for creating the copy.nsf db I've found two conflicting instructions. One to create it from NMailGood.ntf and the other to use NMailSpam.ntf. However neither seem to work out of the box. NMailGood is missing agents and NMailSpam seems to be for the Bayesian filtering (which I've not yet setup). I want to start with just rule based filtering and work up to Bayesian later. Also, conceptually how do I go about "releasing" a falsly filtered email to the intended recipient? When I use the "Confirm as good" button in copy.nsf it doesn't go to the intended recepient. As you can probably tell I'm accustomed to using the Domino mail rules.

    Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Ok, now If I'm doing just rule filtering do I need to create the other two db's? (mailgood and mailspam) The move to good button seems to require the mailgood db. Do this then also send the email on to the original recepient? If not how do I do that?

Thanks, looks like a great tool.

        • You don't need to use the buttons at the top for rule based filtering<eom>

How do I release a good email back to the intended recipient?

            Thanks

or you could edit the agent for the "mark as good" button to make it not copy the email to mailgood.nsf, then you could safely use the button,
