hi, its me again :) I try 1.38b2 for Linux on REDHAT -Domino 6, I follow all the instructions but I always get message, does anyone have an idea? sh stat smtp.kspam.* : SMTP.kSpam.Allow 15 SMTP.kSpam.Bayesian.Boundary 90 SMTP.kSpam.Bayesian.Filter On SMTP.kSpam.Bayesian.Mark On SMTP.kSpam.Bayesian.Prep Off SMTP.kSpam.Bayesian.Prep_2 On SMTP.kSpam.Bayesian.Ratio 10 SMTP.kSpam.Conf.CopyDB mailspam.nsf SMTP.kSpam.Conf.Debug On SMTP.kSpam.Conf.DefaultAction Mark SMTP.kSpam.Conf.FilterFromInt Off SMTP.kSpam.Conf.Mark On SMTP.kSpam.Conf.MaxNumbersInFrom 0 SMTP.kSpam.Conf.MinFromLength 4 SMTP.kSpam.Conf.Reload On SMTP.kSpam.LastMajorError Could not create mutex SMTP.kSpam.Marked 1 SMTP.kSpam.Rule.2 1 SMTP.kSpam.Rule.4 15 SMTP.kSpam.Version 1.38 beta 2 bye D/c
What spec is the server running Domino? It looks like kSpam had trouble creating the mutual exclusion for loading the config but some threads can't of had trouble because you have smtp.kspam.rule.* stats which indicates a rule list was loaded. Very strange, -tom
Tom, it's RedHat 8.0, Domino 6.0 I put copied, mailspam, mailgood KSpamCon( with 10 Rules ) but no one be filled. do you know, what is the content of xxxx.tmp created since I use KSpam on NT server ? thx, D/c
Is this happening every time? Can you add KS_DEBUG=1 to the notes.ini file and then restart the server. Post the contents of ks_log.txt after around 20 emails have passed through. -tom

It looks like a problem with creating a mutex which allows access to the Bayesian data, but as you're on Linux I can't really do very much for you. Maybe Hans can help out? -tom
