• 8.02 Bugs with R6.5.4

    I'm a first time experimenter with OpenNTF, so I may just be missing something but I've got a whole host of bugs after replacing my Database Design with OpenNTF 8.02:


    • Opening mail > 6 instances of - Illegal circular USE: OpenFTFLibraryUI


    • Opening an email > Type mismatch on external name: UIMEMODOCUMENT


    • After email opens > Variant does not contain an object


    • Closing an email > Variant does not contain an object


    • Opening Calendar > 10 Instances of - Illegal circular USE: OpenNTFLibraryUI


    • Once inside Calendar > Unable to load (left) frame's content: Unable to display element, database does not contain design element.


    • Closing Calendar > Illegal circular USE: OpenNTFLibraryUI


    • Executing New Memo > Type mismatch on external name: UIMEMODOCUMENT
                                         &gt; Variant does not contain an object<br/>
                                   &gt; Signature line doesn't show up<br/>

    • Executing Send Mail > 5 instances of - Variant does not contain object





      And the list of bugs goes on and on and on…. Am I doing something fundamentally wrong here, or are these all real bugs…?

      Hello Larry,



      and welcome to openNTFs. Are you using the 8.0.2 template with a R6.x Lotus Notes Client? Many functions in this template requires a Lotus Notes 8.x Client.



      You can try to use the "Update Folder Design" Action from your Lotus Notes Client. To Refresh the Design from the folder. This can help to solve the problems you see.

        I am using an R6.x Client…. Is there a more compatible version than 8.02 that I should be using?
