• Warning: base64 unexpected end of data

By Peter Gloor 2 decades ago

    Hi,

I've seen this for a while: each time the Bayesian addin is loading words I get a "Warning: base64 unexpected end of data".

    22.01.2004 22:55:05 kSpam.bload: Bayesian addin loading words

22.01.2004 22:56:19 Warning: base64 unexpected end of data – Document may be truncated or corrupt

22.01.2004 22:59:34 Warning: quoted-printable unexpected end of data – Document may be truncated or corrupt

22.01.2004 23:01:48 kSpam.bload: Bayesian addin finished loading words

    22.01.2004 23:01:50 kSpam.bload: Bayesian addin calculating probabilities

22.01.2004 23:01:52 kSpam.bload: Bayesian addin finished calculating probabilities

I cannot find any SMTP Server (e.g. connection) or Router log entries in the Mail Event Log Entry document for this time, so I guess it's one of the messages in MailGood or MailSpam that leads to the error.

Do I need to care and does this need a fix or is it just a warning that can be ignored?

Is there a way to easily locate and delete the corrupted document?

These can be ignored. I believe the message is produced when a document is opened from either mailgood or mailspam by kSpam.bload.

I can't think of a way to track down the document without printing hundreds or even thousands of document IDs to the console because this warning doesn't cause an error in the API functions so catching it when it happens is near impossible.

That's o.k. I just wanted to make sure because I still get some spam messages that should not get through and I wanted to make sure it has noting to do with this warning message.

        Thanks.
