• HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception -

By Jasper Duizendstra 2 decades ago

    Hello Christian,

When opening the link of an album, i get an error 500. The log shows this:

HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - The formula has exceeded the maximum allowable memory usage. [/pictureTest.nsf/plinks/CBRR-5S2JGG

This happens on a R6 server, and on a R6,5 preview in webbrowser from the desiger.

Do you have any suggestions how to solve this?

    Best regards,

    Jasper

      Hi Jasper,

very strange behaviour of the application. Is it possible for you to ZIP the database and sent it to me by email to analyze the configuration or place it on your server for download?

      • I'm getting the same thing (v0.9d)

By Gregg Ginsberg 2 decades ago

I get the same response, regardless of whether or not the album has any photos linked to it or not. Domino 6.51 on Win2K, 512mb RAM. I just created the DB last night w/ the 0.9d template.

      • What i did for the installation

By Jasper Duizendstra 2 decades ago

        Hello Christian,

        Thanks for the quick reaction.

        This is what i did:

        • downloaded the ntf
        • created a db based on the ntf
        • signed the db

          - entered a hostname (localhost) and url http://localhost/pictureTest.nsf
        • ( I did the same for a version on a server (r6.01)at home, same result)

The first page shows up ok. When I click on the album (sidney album), it opens this url:http://localhost/pictureTest.nsf/plinks/CBRR-5S2JGG and returns error 500.

I can send you the db, if you can give me an email address to sent it to.

          Best regards,

          Jasper

(update) the 0.9c version produces the same error
        • how I reproduced and fixed the problem

By Christian Brandlehner 2 decades ago

          Hi,

first a user would sign the template first, but this is not required for me.

Then I created a new database on the server using the template.

I opened the "BLOG config" and entered domain and base URL.

A first test on the server showed exactly the error you described.

To fix the problem I opened the "settings" and justed saved them with defaults.

Another test on the server showed no errors.

          • Changing the album form worked for me

By Jasper Duizendstra 2 decades ago

            Hello Christian,

Could the problem be the different names for the field "Album_Images_Accross"?

            WebProfile_de | WebProfile -> "Album_Images_Accross",

            WebProfile_en | WebProfile -> "Album_Images_Accross_1".

This field is used in the "Album" for to calculate the table.

I haven't had the time to fully check all, but changing Album_Images_Accross to "@GetProfileField("WebProfile";"Album_Images_Accross_1")" on the album form fixed the problem for me.

And yes, a user would sign a template first, in this case I was a lazy user :-)

            Best regards,

            Jasper

              • Same issue w/ 0.9f

By Gregg Ginsberg 2 decades ago

Looks like we've got the same coding issue w/ the latest version. Perhaps we should have a setting in the Config doc.

                  Hi,

are you sure you resaved the configuration document after updating the design? Can you reproducte the problem when creating a new database from the template?.

Sorry for the questions instead of a solution but I have some positive feedback that the new template works now and I need more specific information if there are still problems which I could not reproduce.

                  • I'll test tonight on one of my unfixed galleries <EOM>
