    Hello,



    I use the e-mail function in !HELP! with the dispatch agent. Now how can I compress the ticket column with the problem entry to the subject of the mail. We have now a lot of tickets and the view becomes more and more unclearly…………..



    Hope anyone can help me.

      The problem description is not really clear but i think you have a problem with the max lines entry in the views. this entry is set to 9 lines so that you should see nine lines of the problem field. Well not really nine lines but as much as fits into nine lines with a width of 50 lines. You can set this value to any value between 1 and 9 in all the views with the designer. This would be the first approach to that problem.

      As the Software is V6+ designed there is another option that leaves it to the user to change the count of the lines that should be shown. here it is how that works:

      in the view that you want to change go to

      View -> Change View or in German Ansicht -> Diese Ansicht anpassen.

      In the follwing dialogbox you can change the lines that should be displayed and not only that. This change applies to the user who made it and is persistant. So that if you leave the database and come back later this changes still exists. (even if the View is updated or changed in another way by the developer.
