• Readers and Author fields

the Readers and Authors fields are not saved.
    Am I missing sth?

      Confirmed!
Added attribute “disabled” but that results in the fact that the item is not stored in the document. Trying to find a workaround.

Found a workaround for that.Could you please try the latest version on GitHub if it now works for you?
      Thanks in advance!

That might be a bit too much to post here.

            Hello Oliver,

if I create a new collection, enter id and key and
upload a attachment, I am not able to select a reader/author. I have to
save and after that I can select a reader/author.
Second problem: If I am inside a collection I am not able to switch to e.g. “Activities”.

The reader field is set correctly, but such a Reader user is not able to find his collection in the search.

Logout is not possible for us.

            Ingo

And if a user edits his profile and enters a e-mail, I can edit this e-mail in my account?

              • By Oliver Busse 1 decade ago

You mean the “Settings”? This is a database profile like document that stores only one e-mail adress where the app send an info to if someone uploaded a file. Just a notification.

Could you please create an “issue” on GitHub for all those things?
You may have to register but it's free!
              Thank you :)

I think I solved the issues you found.
There is an issue in the Extlib Namepicker not to store canonical names in the bound fields after choosing the names. Created a bean that corrects that when saving the collection.
