If we wanted all our internal Domino users to be pre-setup on Intrapages, with bits of their profiles populated from the Domino Directory, is this possible?

Are you talking about importing users by script or you want the data to be populated duing first time login when the profile is created. 

Both these scenarios can ofcourse be made possible, but I doubt this will a feature included in the openntf version. different customers have different needs, and probably different fields that are to be popluated

Can we also arrange it so that they don't have to login with their i-Notes password if they are only reading and not posting?

** there is already a feature called "Publc Site" which can be enabled or disabled. if this is enabled the users get the public site instead of the login screen. currently all content must be explicit set as public for content to be seen on the public site.

I could maybe add an option in admin to make all content created public by default if the public site is enabled.
