• Execution Security Alert

By Ben Potts 2 decades ago

    Hello.

We have been using !!Help!! for several months now, and it has been excellent! I am getting ready to upgrade to version 1.5.3, and I have run into a bit of an issue.

After signing the template with our development ID, I receive an Execution Security Alert with "Program signed by: -No Signature-" every time I poen the database. It appears to be the DBLookups for images in the outline. I received this on the previous version after signing it, but I removed all of the DBLookups for images in the Outline and the problem went away. There must be a more simple solution since other people do not appear to have this problem. We are using version 7.0.1 for both client and server.

    Thank you for your help.

    • It seems to be a bug within Notes

By Thomas Schulte 2 decades ago

If you take a look at notes.net and search for "no Signature" you will find some entries related to that. We had the same issue over at the german atnotes forum but could not resolve it there either.

We have the very same problem right here on some other databases which are derived from pretty standard notes templates.

    • Same problem over here!

      Hello,

we are having the exact same problem over here. Every time the database is opened an Execution Security Alert pops up and says that Program is signed by -No Signature- for every button in the left toolbar. Our client version is 6.5.1, server version is 7.0.2 and !!Help!! version is 1.5.3.

Any kind of idea for a solution would be appreciated.

We're having the same issue, something about dblookup. Selecting "trust" changes the workstation security settings, not just this application, but the whole workstation. How can we fix this?
