• Can't enter anything in the Domain field

By John Huber 1 decade ago

    Hi,

I think you Intrapages template is really wonderful, especially for free, but I have a problem with generated mail links. I've discovered the Intrapages site will only work if I leave the Domain field blank in the setup page. This, of course, means all generated e-mail links try to work from the user's local system. If I enter the correct URL in the Domain field, it is no longer possible to access the Intrapages website. The error message given is the webpage is trying load in a manner that will never complete. I have to open Intrapages with Notes and remove the Domain before being able to access the webspage again. I think the problem is because I have multiple virtual web servers on my Domino 9 server and am therefore using Web Internet Sites to configure access to the individual servers based on the domain name used. I thought the problem might be because I have the Intrapages database in a subdirectory of data named "intranet", but I tried putting it in the main data directory and it made no difference. The entire website appears to work well except for this problem with generated links.

    I'm running Domino Release 9.0 HF328 (July 03, 2013) Windows/64 on Windows Server 2008 R2.

I'm running Extension Library Version 9.0.0.v00_02_20130515-2200

I was hoping to try the latest 1.9 template to see if it fixed the problem, but haven't been able to figure out how to download it.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    John

      • Working better now

By John Huber 1 decade ago

I loaded the v1.9 Build 388 template to my Intrapages site and that appears to have solved not only the problem with the Domain name not working, but also the http JVM JavaScript errors that would appear on the console.

I noticed you added an "admin" role to the ACL.  What is the purpose of that?  I don't appear to "need" that role to administer the site.

        Thanks again,

        John
